[refrain]

You're the colors / all i know /all i can see/ blending white to black / creating this variegated sea / i'm here with you / are you here with me ? / i'm blind, you know / but i trust that you can see

Dustin- Your blog is nothing of what I expected-far more impressive then dry data I was expecting from a scientist. There are two things that keep me sane...writing for myself-I don't have a blog but I have notebooks piled in my basement from long diatribes and the trees that sacrificed their lives for blathering- and music. No, I can't play a lick- but I don't own a tv and so my nights are filled with the walls shaking as the neighbors secretly hate me.
You have drawn me into your blog- and when I have more time this weekend, I will be back for more.
Have fun on your continuing birthday journey through the various beers...
-that Irish girl next to you at the bar- Eileen
PS: I'm from Omaha... GO HUSKERS!

I"m flattered you followed through in our conversation about the beloved "astrocyte" (the cell type, that is). it was a pleasure meeting you. Just one thing: why "Red" -- it's quite a powerful color, so i'm curious...

Well it depends on who you're talking to- but it comes from a few things about me: Red hair(I'm sure you couldn't see it in the bar but in the sunlight it looks fiery);
if I become upset, embarrassed or even slightly drunk (which takes about two sips of anything) you can watch the red travel up my neck to my face;
and lastly, I'm a 'fire' horse. It's handy too- when you have to give your name to call when your order is up- or your table is ready- they slaughter my real name so badly I have actually thought they were calling out someone else-and I hate missing my food-I love eating far too much.

I was hoping to read about your birthday celebration- or perhaps its too scandalous to post?
