- My passions include neuroscience - in which I received a Ph.D. from Oregon Health & Science University - music, road cycling, photography and design, the outdoors, the cities, and experience. Furthermore, I invest in musical creation and performance through my music project, dKOTA. I grew up in South Dakota, I lived in Wales, UK briefly, and I currently enjoy living in northwest Portland, Oregon.
